Mission India: A Purpose-Filled Three-Day Celebration
The Christmas feast and gathering in India
In Paraolon, India, Christmas is one of the most awaited and significant celebrations of the year. Matt, our dreamer representing Mission India, shares that the festivities begin on December 24th and continue until the 26th. The celebration is filled with services each evening, where the story of Jesus’ birth is shared through various teachings. "We reflect on the purpose of His coming," Matt says. The celebration also includes fun Bible games, sports, and night gatherings where the community comes together to enjoy meals, share stories, and strengthen their faith. It’s a time of both spiritual growth and community bonding. They also get up super early in the morning to go caroling!

Mission Cambodia: A Special Program to Share God’s Love
In Cambodia, Vuthy and his team have prepared a beautiful program for their Christmas celebration on the 28th, which will bring together 100 children, 30 youths, and 30 adults. The celebration begins with a traditional Cambodian blessing dance performed by the children, followed by worship with several songs. "We will also feature a skit by our youth group about the birth of Jesus," says Vuthy. The message of God's love will be shared through a reflection on John 3:16, highlighting the profound love Jesus has for all of us. The event will conclude with the giving of gifts and a community meal, ensuring that everyone feels the joy and warmth of the season.

Mission Colombia: Spreading Joy Across the Land
In Colombia, Eyson and Karson, along with their students, celebrated Christmas in early December by reaching out to over 200 children and families from Filandia and surrounding farming communities. “Each child received gifts, and more than 150 families received Christmas baskets filled with groceries and treats,” Eyson shares. But the gifts weren't just material; every person also heard the story of Jesus’ birth, sharing the true meaning of Christmas with the community. This heartwarming celebration reflected the love and generosity of the Christmas spirit, where both physical and spiritual needs were met.
