We're So Excited To Get To Know You! Introducing Our First Employee

You may or may not know who we are, but here’s why you should care.

For 7 years a man named Matthew Sankhil in a war-torn village in Northern India prayed that a small organization like ours would come to help his village.

Fast forward to today and Matt is one of our dreamers!

With your support, we are able to help bring Matthew's dream for his village to life!

To support us in doing this work, telling these stories, and growing Village Reach to eventually serve more dreamers in more villages around the world...

We have grown our team!

Please give a warm welcome to Alyssa!

Alyssa Roman

Hey everyone! I’m Alyssa! Since joining the VR team earlier this month, I have grown such a huge heart for this organization. Working with Katlyn and Chase has been such a blessing and makes me so excited to start getting to know our Dreamers and Donors too! It is so inspiring to be a part of something that touches so many and makes such a tangible difference in their lives.

I pray everyday that you are moved to grow your support and be even more engaged with our organization. Most of all, I look forward to connecting with our amazing supporters 1-on-1 and illuminating all the good you make possible!

5 Facts About Alyssa

  1. I’m currently enrolled in Dicipleship Training School at Youth With A Mission, Mazatlan Mexico!

  2. I’m originally from Florida and graduated with a B.Sc. in Social Science from UCF; go Knights!

  3. I’ve visited 30 countries (including Cambodia and India where some of our dreamers live!) and plan to visit at least one more in 2024 (prayers up for Colombia with VR)

  4. I’m pretty allergic to dogs but it never stops me from petting them, that’s sacrificial love!

  5. My favorite food is North Indian food like saag paneer with rice, samosas, and a mango lassi please!

In a future post, we're going to paint a picture on what life is like for the people of Paraolon Village. They are going through a lot right now and we thank you for continuing to pray for them.

Here are a few photos from our last visit earlier this year!

We want to thank you for being a part of our community. You have no idea how helpful the simple act of reading our blog is to us and our dreamers. It's encouraging to know you’re there and that you care. So thank you!

Would you please pray for us here at Village Reach that we are able to do justice to our dreamer’s stories and that the Lord would open people’s hearts to simply help as much as they possibly can.

Stay tuned for our next email to get to know one of our dreamers better and receive an update on their project!

From our village to yours,
The Team at Village Reach
